Hi!
My name is Michael Lee, and I’m Core’s financial coordinator. My position basically involves ensuring that the assorted areas of Core are funded for responsibly and effectively. My hope and prayer as financial coordinator is that our ministry here at Core will not be limited or hindered by monetary issues. It is this mindset that pushes me to make certain that no student misses out on a retreat due to a lack of funds, or that no inreach or outreach program fails to take form simply because of money.
And here’s a little about me: I’m currently a junior at SCU, and it has kind of snuck up on me that half of my college career has passed by already. I’m studying accounting and finance, neither of which is terribly exciting, but they’re necessary. Born and raised in Fremont, California, I’ve enjoyed living in the bay area all my life. I grew up in a nicely-sized Asian church in Fremont, Home of Christ 3, and it’s a second home for me. When I’m at Santa Clara, I go to San Jose Christian Alliance Church, and I love the fellowship there. My interests are varied and consuming, and they include basketball, theology, hip-hop, and finding cheap deals. I look forward to this coming year and getting to know you guys!
