Welcome
Hi! I'm Molly and I will be the Ministry Partners Coordinator this year. Core partners with local churches and ministries who help us out a lot. We have carpools to local churches on Sundays and highly encourage everyone in our body to get connected to one of them. I know that finally finding a church to call home helped me more than I can write in this short bio, but feel free to ask me about it. There are also people from our partner churches we call our mentors. They are even more involved in Core, and often come to Nightlife and to have meals with us. They are amazing people who are willing to talk, pray, and just help us sort out all the questions about God and life that college tends to bring. Our mentors are definitely a blessing to all of us, and I encourage you to really get to know them.
As for me, I will be a junior here at SCU, though I don't feel that old. I finally figured out that I am going to major in math. I'm not sure what I'm going to when I graduate, but I do know I want to work with people. In the fall, I'll be living in Casa Italiana, so feel free to come by and visit. I grew up in Washington, but I spend almost all my time here in the San Jose area. I love hanging out just about anywhere, but especially enjoy bubble tea and frozen yogurt. I learned how to play guitar two years ago now and love it (if you ever want to learn or just play together, let me know!) I love music in most forms, but am especially fond of musicals (I always wished my life was a musical) and bands such as Casting Crowns and Tenth Avenue North. I am very excited for the upcoming school year because I love with the people on our campus so much! I am very grateful that I was introduced to Core and the people there, most of which I never would have met any other way.
