Welcome

My name is Lauren Bothereau, and I am so excited to be serving as Outreach Coordinator for Core this year! I have been a part of Core for two years, but this will be my first year on the Leadership Team. I am a Junior here at SCU, and I am a communication major with a video production emphasis and a religious studies minor (read: I like movies and God). My hometown is Aliso Viejo, CA, and when I am not at Core you can find me making movies, going to Disneyland, and playing at the beach. My job is basically to make sure everyone on campus knows what Core is all about! I am here to answer questions from incoming freshmen as well as current SCU students and help plan events to reach both Christians and non-Christians on campus. I am also organizing the Core booth for the welcome weekend club fair! Come grab a free caramel apple and some Core info Sunday, September 21st. This year I am also going to be putting my film skills to work and making some videos for and about Core. Let me know if this is something you might be interested in helping with!
