Hi!
I’m Yasmin and I am serving as the Women’s Small Groups Coordinator for Core this year. I am responsible for ensuring that the women of Core are growing through bible studies and building meaningful, transparent relationships with one another through accountability groups. This year I am most excited about BeLoved, our newly founded women’s bible study group. Ladies, check out the BeLoved link for more info on what this group has to offer you! Another group at SCU is Wonderfully Made, a Christian ministry dedicated to helping women grow spiritually, emotionally and interpersonally while inspiring them to lead healthy, authentic, confident and Christ-centered lives.
As for me, I am a sophomore at SCU and a psychology major. I grew up in San Jose, but moved to the small town of Visalia, CA just as I was starting middle school. Now I am back in the Bay Area for college. When school starts, I will be living on campus in Walsh with my lovely roommate Katie (she is also in Core). I love singing, especially with the Core Worship team. I enjoy admiring God’s beautiful creation, laughing, drawing, shopping, riding roller coasters, and eating ice cream! While I'm in Santa Clara, I attend Camden Avenue Baptist Church with some of my dearest friends. Core has been a tremendous blessing for me and through Core I’ve met so many genuine people who share in my desire to live a godly life and be a true follower of Christ. Well, thanks for reading!
